LiveFit looks to present New Zealand’s largest health, fitness and wellness event
Bringing together world class trainers to host more than 35 workout sessions across two days, the LiveFit Health & Festival aims to offer exercisers access to a choice of fitness programs to achieve their wellness goals.
With many of New Zealand’s top fitness trainers and yoga instructors hosting classes throughout the weekend of 14th and 15th March, LiveFit Managing Director, Jono Ridler explains “there's really no excuse to not be healthier in 2021”.
With the event being held at Auckland’s Trusts Arena, Ridler notes "the idea of hosting so many workout sessions over the two days is really a chance to profile the types and styles of programmes that are available to people here in NZ and add the convenience of trialing them all in one place.
“It's an opportunity to try one or maybe 3 or 4 to see what works for you without the added pressure of everyone else in the class excelling because they're a regular. In these classes at the Festival, there'll be a number of novice people trying out the class for the first time".
Workout sessions on offer at LiveFit will include HIIT, functional training, boxing, yoga and Pilates along with well-known fitness programmes like Zumba, Les Mills, POUND or 9Round - led by trainers including Ruben Wiki, Nikki Ralston and Nats Levi.
Ridler adds “we're also very excited to announce that Kate Ivey will be attending the Festival. Founder of Kate Ivey Fitness and the successful DediKate community, Kate will be hosting her Boot Camp Blast both Saturday and Sunday in the main Fitness Studio".
Ivey, who specialises in HIIT and at home weights workouts, commented “when I got asked to be a part of LiveFit I was really excited to share what I do with people to improve their health and fitness long term.
“LiveFit is the hub in NZ for health and fitness and it is important that we work together to create a supportive and motivational community to empower people to look after themselves for both their mental and physical health.”
Looking forward to LiveFit, Ridler goes on to say “this year, we're offering eight yoga based classes over the two days that give attendees a chance to experience what yoga is about and the best part - you get to do it outside on the grass. Yoga is all about stretching and mindfulness and being able to offer these classes on the grass, in the sun and the fresh air is an experience not a lot of people get to do, and they get to do it with some of NZ's most recognised and respected yoga instructors".
Joining Niki Ralston at the Festival in providing Yoga classes outside at LiveFit is Kelly Macdonald, Claire Eli and Maddie Brosnan.
