2020 to see launch of LiveFit Health and Fitness Festival in Auckland

A new event celebrating activity, exercise and wellness is to be staged in Auckland next year, blending the best elements of an expo and a festival and presenting some of the hottest names in fitness and health.

Being held at Auckland's The Trusts Arena on 21st and 22nd March, the LiveFit Health & Fitness Festival is aiming to inspire and motivate everyday people who have an interest in health, fitness or wellbeing or want to make some positive changes in their lifestyle.

Explaining that the event aims to attract an expected 8,000 to 10,000 visitors over its two days, Jono Ridler, Managing Director of event owner and manager JPR Management, advised “we want it to be an interactive experience that’s engaging, inspiring and fun while also providing people with information and advice from experts to help them make positive lifestyle changes."

Aimed at a core target of 25 to 45 years olds (predominantly female) while also having a range of options and activities for children and families, the venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces incorporating a ‘retail zone’ for brands and businesses to get that face-to-face contact with potential customers for sales, branding and data collection objectives.

Visitors will also get to experience live competitions, cooking demonstrations and seminars, with Ridler adding "we’re setting up two indoor fitness studios showcasing new and popular fitness programmes like Zumba, 9 Round, POUND, Veraflow and more, plus an outdoor stage will host outdoor yoga and a number of workouts from ‘high-profile fitness trainers’ while getting fans close to some of the big names they follow on social media.”

Ridler is iniviting those businesses in the health, fitness, wellness industries or the lifestyle products sector to get in touch to talk about how they can get involved and in front of this active and health conscious consumer audience.

He concludes “there is no other event like this in NZ and it’s going to be something pretty epic."
