Latest fitness developments on display at Fitness & Health Expo
The Australian Fitness & Health Expo, to be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre on from this Friday (27th April) to Sunday 29th April, is set to offer fitness managers and businesses a range of products and to help 'pump up' their centres and clubs.
With over 300 leading suppliers positioned in dedicated zones for commercial fitness and rehabilitation equipment, education, wellness, business services and general fitness the Expo offers a smorgasboard of industry products and services.
Among a range of new trends on display are:
Jungle Fitness - incorporating moves from Latin and contemporary dance, hip hop, boxing, Pilates, 70s disco and football training, Jungle Body is the newest group exercise class to hit the market. Founded by Tara Franzinelli, Jungle Fitness combines exciting classes, diet and fitness plans and a clothing range that fuses fashion and fitness. Jungle Fitness are on stand G13.
The Spirit E-Glide Commercial Elliptical from Trojan Fitness - designed specifically for group exercise workouts, combining the best from spin bikes and cross trainers to offer a great upper and lower body workout with the same cardio benefits of a high intensity spin class.
The Lebert Buddy System by Supply Fitness - this new resistance training system sees participants team up with a friend to get an incredible workout, for both the user adopting the role of the 'anchor', using the floating handle, or the partner using the hands grips on the 'working' end of the resistance-style band. Supply Fitness are on stand G7.
Vario, Technogym's 'treadmill of the future' for all-round cardiovascular training. Technogym are on stand O/T30.
The PT Essentials app that lets personal trainers send exercises to their clients via iPhone. PT Essentials are on stand P29.

The Expo also offers a Fitness Business Advice Centre where professionals can ask questions about insurance, recruitment, marketing and other industry developments.
The Australian Leisure Facilities Association will also be hosting a networking event during the Expo at lunchtime on Friday 27th April. The event will be addressed by facility management expert Simon Weatherill.
