LAI Games release revenue generating ideas guide for FECs

With the majority of arcades and family entertainment centres around the world not currently making any income, LAI Games has released Revenue Generation Ideas, a guide for FECs and arcades to generate income during Coronavirus shutdown.

Introducing the online guide, LAI Games advise “these are extremely difficult times (but we) … need to remind ourselves that this is only temporary, even if it doesn’t feel like it sometimes.

“It’s these kind of times that call for thinking outside the box in order to come up with new ways to

generate revenue and keep moving forward.

“This includes ideas we might not consider under normal circumstances, but as we know, circumstances are far from normal.”

The guide includes ideas such as reaching out to local schools, youth groups, clubs and organisations; offering heavily discounted play packages; hosting weekly online trivia nights; converting redemption store inventory into an online store; and, for facilities that offer F&B, offering home delivery.

LAI Games add “not all of these ideas will be feasible for your business, and with things changing by the hour in some cases they might not even be possible, but hopefully they can get the wheels turning and allow you to come up with more of your own.

“Our thoughts go out to every single person across the industry that has been affected in this, and we will continue to try and provide support, insight, and even laughter wherever possible.”
