Kryal Castle acknowledges efforts of volunteers and emergency services during Victoria's bushfire crisis

The management of Ballarat attraction Kryal Castle has issued its thanks to the volunteers and emergency services staff that have braved the bushfires to protect communities across Victoria.

In a statement, the attraction advised “with many towns and regions across the state severely impacted by the bushfires, volunteers and emergency service staff from all over the state are frantically striving to save these communities - often away from their own family and friends, for days and even weeks at a time.”

To show appreciation for their immense dedication and courage, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th February saw Kryal Castle hold an 'Emergency Services weekend' where members of our emergency services and their immediate families were offered free entry to the attraction.

Kryal Castle’s General Manager, Melissa Dimond commented “we hope a visit to the Castle offers these amazing people a chance to recharge and momentarily immerse themselves in a world of make believe with their loved ones.

“We are in awe of the work they’ve doing and want to do our small part to say thank you.”
