Kryal Castle fires up through winter

Victorian attraction Kryal Castle has been staging is Knights of Fire program during the winter.

Staged during the school holidays and Ballarat’s Winterlude festival, the daily highlight of the program was the spectacular Joust of The Flame as knight characters ‘Sir Hector’ and ‘Sir Reynard’ clashed flaming lances and swords in The Castle’s Main Arena. The event has also seen the introduction of a fire jump to the Skill At Arms display.

Guests were then able to enjoy the roving entertainment or make their way to The Abbey, grab a seat by the open fire and join a shadow puppet performance.

Kryal Castle is also making the most of interest in the Game of Thrones phenomena, staging a series of medieval themed Murder Mystery nights based on, as it explains a "gripping tale about the struggle for power, the lust for blood, and the fear of the blade."
