Inaugural GTI Southeast Asia Expo attracts support from national associations and trade bodies

With less than a week to go, the highly anticipated inaugural GTI Southeast Asia Expo, the event is shaping up to be a must-attend event for the amusement and attractions industry across the region.

Held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur from 22nd to 24th April 2025, the Expo will run concurrently with the debut of the Asia Pacific Amusement & Attractions Industry (APAAI) Forum -the educational centrepiece of the event.

With a lineup of influential and experienced speakers and panellists, the Forum will bring together thought leaders, innovators, and policy influencers to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities within the industry.

Andrew Lee, GTI Global Ambassador and Chairman of the Expo and Forum Organising Committees, explained “delegates attending GTI Southeast Asia Expo will not only meet companies showcasing the latest amusement equipment and entertainment technologies, but also gain valuable insights into emerging trends and best practices shaping our industry.”

Further supporting the content and reach of the Expo and Forum is the collaboration with national associations and trade bodies from across the Asia Pacific, including host country Malaysia.

The event is supported by:

  • China Culture & Entertainment Industry Association (CCEA)

  • Malaysian Association of Theme Parks & Family Attractions (MATFA)

  • Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB)

  • Philippines Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (PhilAAPA)

  • China Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (CAAPA)

Welcoming this, Lee added “these associations and trade bodies are supporting the event, with the chairperson or their representatives - some of whom will also have booths at the Expo. I’m deeply grateful for their assistance and support.”

The Asia Pacific Amusement & Attractions Industry (APAAI) Forum 2025 will bring together 350 senior executives from 23 to 24 April at the same venue.
