Upper Hutt City Council has advised that Cindy Robinson has been appointed General Manager of Maidstone Community Sports Hub. Robinson commenced in her new role on 25th September.

The redevelopment of Maidstone Community Sports Hub, which began in September 2021, will include new shared clubrooms, indoor training facilities, and several smaller, upgraded facilities throughout the park. The project is expected to be finished by the end of 2023.

Robinson has worked in the health and fitness sector for more than a decade, including her previous role as Wellington Regional Facility Manager at City Fitness.

With hands-on experience in facility management, Robinson knows what it takes to ensure facilities like the Maidstone Community Sports Hub run smoothly.

Originally from Christchurch, Robinson, her partner and their beloved black lab, now proudly call Upper Hutt home.

Robinson shared “Upper Hutt is a fantastic place for outdoor enthusiasts. It's one of the reasons I adore being here; the expansive open spaces and walking tracks make it an ideal place to call home.”
