iiNet extends its sponsorship of Hawthorn Football Club
Australian internet service provider - iiNet - has announced the extension of their sponsorship of Hawthorn Football Club, a move that sees the partnership enter a ninth successful year.
iiNet Limited, as an Australian internet service provider, offers a wide range of NBN plans and services on its own ULTRA Broadband Cable, FTTB and VDSL2 networks. iiNet became part of the TPG Telecom group in July, 2020.
The agreement with Hawthorn Football Club sees iiNet continue its commitment to support the Hawks throughout 2021 via a range of member and fan engagement activities, with the goal of keeping players and their fans connected throughout this year’s AFL season.
The brands are delighted to be teaming up for another year, with Justin Reeve, Chief Executive at Hawthorn Football Club noting “we’re proud of the successful partnership we’ve shared with iiNet for almost a decade.
“iiNet shares the Hawks’ commitment to the pursuit of innovation, just one of the many synergies between the brands that make this collaboration the success it has and continues to be.”
iiNet General Manager Marketing, Rob Holmes adds “to be extending our partnership with the Hawks into a ninth year is an exciting milestone for the iiNet brand. We’re looking forward to bringing the players and their fans closer together in the coming season.”
The 2021 AFL season kicks off mid-March with Hawthorn playing their first game of the season against Essendon on Saturday, 20th March 2021.
