ICC Sydney promotes Marc Singerling to role of Director of Event Delivery
International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, has promoted Marc Singerling to the role of Director of Event Delivery. Singerling commenced in his role on 14th April 2025 following a long tenure as Food and Beverage Services Manager at ICC Sydney.
Reporting to Lynell Peck, ICC Sydney’s General Manager – Operations, the new directorship will lead culinary and event services as part of the organisation’s commitment to drive change through innovation.
Singerling has dedicated three decades of his career to the dynamic world of food, beverage and events management, building extensive knowledge and experience at some of Sydney's most prestigious venues - including nine years served at ICC Sydney.
ICC Sydney Chief Executive, Adam Mather-Brown said Singerling’s commitment to ICC Sydney’s ‘More Than A Venue’ promise stood him apart and noted “Marc’s integral leadership and expansive operational knowledge defines his approach to delivering service excellence for a diverse range of large-scale conferences, exhibitions, banquets, meetings and live entertainment events.
“We are delighted to have Marc join our Executive team to nurture our high-performance professionals that deliver the events of today and into the future.”
ICC Sydney General Manager – Operations, Lynell Peck added “Marc is an exceptional executive who has dedicated a significant part of his career in a senior management role here at ICC Sydney as well as at major local venues and abroad. His contribution to our clients’ success over almost a decade puts him in good stead to lead his team to execute complex and engaging events at ICC Sydney.”
Reflecting on his appointment, Singerling said it was a privilege to be elevated to Director of Event Delivery position at ICC Sydney and shared “Inspired by my passion for premium client and delegate experiences, I am honoured to have the opportunity to contribute to ICC Sydney’s world class services as part of the venue’s Executive team.”
Singerling has built a reputation for nurturing the next generation of industry talent and has regularly guided international culinary professionals from the Netherland’s Breda University of Applied Sciences, Hotelschool The Hague and Hotel Management School Maastricht through ICC Sydney’s culinary internship program.
Singerling was responsible for leading ICC Sydney’s internal Operational Management Group for two years, increasing communication and operational efficiencies across the venue’s departments.
