Hyrox looks to make its group fitness programs available to gyms worldwide

Mass participation fitness challenge, Hyrox, is looking to expand its global community by having its group fitness classes and educational content available to gyms and studios worldwide.

Dubbed "The World Series of Fitness Racing", Hyrox offers a challenging format that combines running and functional workout stations in a race against the clock of 8 x 1km runs, each followed by a gruelling workout station. Open to individuals, pairs, and teams, the circuit-based competition welcomes everyday fitness enthusiasts and elite athletes alike.

The new enterprise solution, which comes from Hyrox 365 - the training, coaching and education arm of Hyrox - would see Hyrox programming available to fitness facilities worldwide, giving members a chance to train for Hyrox races inside their gym or studio of choice, all year round. The platform also targets consumers who might not want to participate in a Hyrox race but who are willing to engage with the brand’s workouts inside of a group fitness setting in a gym.

According to Hyrox, the enterprise solution is designed to cater to the specific needs of multi-site, branded operators by supplementing the brand’s popular Hyrox Training Club product with ‘specific, turnkey tools’.

Those tools include expertly programmed group training workouts designed for customised in-facility delivery, education for fitness coaches on how to teach Hyrox classes and the ability to include Hyrox content across member apps, in-gym screens and on-demand virtual workouts.

Hyrox works with Fiit, a fitness app and provider of white-label software solutions for fitness brands with Fiit founder Ian McCaig noting “Hyrox approach the building of this offering with the same intention they do their events. This is the best product I’ve ever seen combining technology, equipment and world-class expertise to deliver a turn-key solution and unparalleled ecosystem of training, education and resources for operators and members which fits seamlessly into their existing tech-stack and business operations.”

Hyrox will also advise operators on how to create optimally designed Hyrox Training Zones within their clubs to maximise revenue per square metre during group sessions. A club’s members will also receive early access to tickets for Hyrox events. 

Hyrox 365 aims to make healthy performance training accessible for everybody and translates the Hyrox race fundamentals into a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to performance fitness that caters not just to Hyrox participants, but to athletes at all levels and empowers coaches to take a holistic view on an athlete’s physical and mental fitness journey.

Hyrox Training embodies hybrid high intensity and functional fitness by combining eight workouts and running within a structured system and adding a well-rounded training system streamlined towards performance. Hyrox notes it turns “fitness into a real sport for the everyday gym goer and elite athletes.”

Hyrox Managing Director Douglas Gremmen advised “Hyrox 365 is the ultimate training product for fitness racing – combining technology, equipment, and world-class training and programming expertise. Now, for the first time, we’re bringing it to enterprise operators, reaching a new wave of gym-goers and expanding the global Hyrox community.

“We want to expand the sport beyond our 600,000 active racers, by introducing members to the sport of fitness racing, and providing a low barrier to entry group class where athletes get a taste of Hyrox training and the overall community aspect of group exercise.”

Hyrox 365 having launched in April 2024, celebrated its 5,000th HYROX-affiliated international training club in January 2025. The HYROX 365 model has reportedly delivered rapid growth, with global affiliations growing at 260% per annum and over 2,300 new clubs affiliated in 2024.

Hyrox is experiencing a popularity boom in Australia with a staggering +410% increase in Australian online searches for the term ‘Hyrox’ within the past 12 months.
