Hockey Queensland re-sign Polytan as Official HQ Turf Supplier and preferred turf of hockey across Queensland
Hockey Queensland has announced the re-signing of Polytan as the official HQ Turf Supplier and preferred turf of hockey in Queensland.
Polytan offers quality synthetic sport surfaces and artificial turfs, as well as many services - installation, repair and maintenance.
Poligras by Polytan has been the official hockey surface for seven Olympic Games including Tokyo 2020. Polytan has signed on for the next two Games in Paris (2024) and Los Angeles (2028).
Polytan is also returning to support the Brisbane Blaze, by sponsoring the VIP area - ‘The Inferno’ - at home games.
In a significant development, the Hockey One League, in which the Brisbane Blaze compete, is set to return in late 2022 after being postponed for the past two years.
In 2022, the Brisbane Blaze women’s team will be out to defend their national title, whilst the men’s team will fight to go one better finishing second in the inaugural year.
Commenting on the extended partnership, Polytan General Manager, Paul Kamphuis stated “hockey has a rich history and strong presence in Queensland.
