Gymnastics Clubs Australia commits to in-person event

Gymnastics Clubs Australia (GCA) has responded to the overwhelming call from its member clubs for a major in-person event, advising that, as soon national restrictions permit, it will stage an event allowing face-to-face attendance.

As a result, the inaugural GCA National Congress has been moved from early December to mid-February 2022.

Significantly, the event has been moved from the Sunshine Coast to Melbourne with GCA Chief Executive, Ross Gage advising "this recognises that Victorians have been hardest hit by the pandemic; so by holding GCA's first major event there will make their participation more affordable".

Featured speaker is currently being sort from the USA, while two Australians will round out the keynotes for the program.

Looking forward to announcing the program, Gage stated "a feature of the event will be a number of critical networking-socials and an Insights Tour to a show-piece facility."
