Gymnastics Clubs Australia to stage inaugural National Congress

The recently formed Gymnastics Clubs Australia has announced that it will stage its inaugural National Congress at the Twin Towns Conference Centre in the northern NSW town of Tweed Heads during October.

As the fledgling Gymnastics Clubs Australia (GCA) continues to grow in membership - with 132 sites already onboard - it is stepping up its education and community commitment.

Following on from a highly successful Foundation Dinner and Level Up Seminar in Perth last week, GCA Chief Executive, Ross Gage reported that the timing and location of the conference reflected the gymnastics clubs desire to get together in-person in a welcoming environment and a period of greater certainty.

Gage advised "the Tweed - Gold Coast border area represented a relaxing, affordable environment with the airport on its doorstep.

“By starting off on Sunday 10th October with the Welcome Reception at Greenmount Surf Club - watching the sunset - the event's invaluable networking-socials will get off to a great start. We witnessed recently in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth how essential such networking socials - especially when built into education - are to building community."

GCA National Congress 2021 will then include two days of high-level conferencing on the Monday and Tuesday.

On the Wednesday, Australian Keynote Speaker of the Year, Bruce Sullivan will be presenting a signature Masterclass around People and Culture.
