Great Big Hippo to be unveiled at the Big Banana
Auset Speciality Castles recently unveiled The Hippo, the world's largest inflatable water slide, rising almost 12 metres high and measuring over 50 meters long. Designed on the same scale as attractions in the 'fixed' water parks, The Hippo is the major feature of new seven feature temporary waterpark and play space at Coffs Harbour attraction the Big Banana.
While waiting to commence work on its planned permanent waterpark, the Big Banana recently installed two inflatable waterslides and five inflatable playlands, each from Penrith, NSW-based Auset Speciality Castles. Of these attractions, The Hippo has made the biggest splash!
And what really separates The Hippo from permanent water slides is its 'freestyle' concept of sliding as riders are not restricted to the same position every time. And just like the permanent attractions, The Hippo(tm) can safely generate well over 500 slides per hour.
The Hippo is available for sale or hire, while Auset Speciality Castles also offer a range of franchise opportunites in inflatable play and children's entertainment.
