Goodlife Health Club team members join 'doorknock' volunteers
Hundreds of Goodlife Health Club employees are among 120,000 volunteers aiming to raise $5 million to help the fight against heart disease during the Heart Foundation's 'Doorknock Appeal'.
Goodlife Caloundra Club Manager Robert Burr explained how his team was eager to hit the streets for such a good cause, stating "we're an organisation which aims to improve the health, wellbeing and quality of life of the community and the Heart Foundation Doorknock Appeal has the same vision and goals, so it's a great fit.
"The Heart Foundation's funding comes from public donations and the Doorknock Appeal is their largest community-led fundraising program so we're proud to be involved in the campaign it's also a great way to meet locals.
"We're looking forward to raising awareness and much-needed funds for such a great charity and we get to be active along the way!"
