Go Health Clubs open new 'super gym' in Brisbane
Brisbane-based fitness club group Go Health Clubs has opened Queensland’s largest 24/7 gym in Springwood, introducing two fitness brands - Arena Fitness MMA and Yogabox - to give members "the ultimate workout experience".
The redeveloped GO Springwood club cost $3.5 million and has an expanded vision and scope with more floor space (2,800 metre²), new equipment, over 100 group fitness classes each week, massive strength and power lifting zones, an indoor sporting field with functional training equipment and the Arena Fitness MMA and Yogabox workout brands.
The club also features a Xen Mind Body Studio accompanied by a Sanctuary space with sauna, steam room and monsoon shower.
Go Health Clubs have also launched a new App to help members plan and schedule their classes and new cashless concierge system
The mobile App enables members to view class schedules, sign-up for classes, book the Kids Zone, view ongoing promotions, as well as view the club's location and contact information.
Introducing what it calls a “cashless/concierge member experience”, the Go Health Clubs’ website explains “to keep ahead of the industry, we are making a bold move to revolutionise our member experience by introducing a concierge concept where reception would normally be.
“If you have ever been into an Apple store, or even a bank like NAB or the Commonwealth Bank, they use the concierge concept to ensure that they remove all physical barriers between staff and their customers.
“Expect to see pods instead of desks, automated check-ins, phones directed to HQ, and receptionists with iPads directing our members to self service areas.
“We’ve listened to your feedback and will also start a trial of a Cashless payment process for all purchases and membership payments.”
The franchised Arena Fitness MMA has been described as “the perfect combination of conditioning training and developing skills to be safe and confident in your own skin.”
