Commenting on his new role, Aquilina advised “we are Redefining the group training model with a personalised approach, tailored nutrition and physical, mental and emotional results … (and) in 2021 there are going to be amazing opportunities for clients, trainers and franchisees.”
Introducing the RE:Union concept shortly after its launch, Istomin told news.com.au “it is group training, so there are similarities to F45 and, of course, I helped create both, so there are crossovers, but we have got different focuses.”
Advising that RE:Union was more about strength training and conditioning, with less cardio and high intensity interval (HIIT) workouts, Istomin added “F45 is more cardio focused, and we focus on measurable data and making sure people move to perform and feel better
“We do incorporate high-intensity sessions into our program, but at the right time, to then elicit the best ultimate change without sacrificing your body and putting it under too much pressure and stress.
“A big focus for us is actually educating our members on how and why they train the way they do to move better.”
