FITREC and HealthyPeople collaboration supports Les Mills Asia Pacific recruitment

Les Mills Asia Pacific, FITREC Registration and HealthyPeople Recruitment have announced a partnership that will deliver a groundbreaking, free instructor sourcing tool for Les Mills club partners.

Offering substantial benefits to all stakeholders, the Les Mills Instructor Search (LMIS) tool strengthens support for club partners who gain access to a free and efficient way to find qualified, local Les Mills Instructors, while instructors now have an easier pathway to new career opportunities.

Additionally, FITREC will see its profiles benefiting industry professionals and employers, while HealthyPeople enhances its platform by providing added functionality for recruiting employers.

Enthusiastic about the potential impact of LMIS, Hylton Drake, Chief Operating Officer at Les Mills, who was instrumental in the development of this collaboration, commented “this partnership is more than just a tool, it's a game-changer for how our Club Partners and Instructors connect. We’re excited to see this collaboration play a key role in the future of group fitness in Australia."

Explaining the inspiration behind the collaboration, Drake adds “finding the right Instructors is a key challenge for clubs, and securing great teaching opportunities is just as important for Instructors.

“This partnership with HealthyPeople and FITREC provides a smarter, more efficient way to match Les Mills Instructors with opportunities. We look forward to seeing how it will enhance the recruitment process for our Club Partners and contribute to the continued growth of high-quality group fitness experiences."

Initially developed for the Australian market, the LMIS tool is available to Instructors and employers in all regions, ensuring global reach and impact.

How LMIS Works
From Monday, 14th April, when logged into HealthyPeople, employers can access the Les Mills Instructor Search page here. This page, powered by API integration with FITREC, dynamically displays a list of local Les Mills certified candidates, with each listing showing the instructor's class certifications sourced from their FITREC profile.

Employers can filter candidates by class type and, if interested, click through to view the full FITREC profile. To initiate contact, employers can send a pre-populated SMS that includes details of the available class and contact information from the employer's HealthyPeople profile.

FITREC General Manager, Luis Carranza adds “FITREC registration was built with industry recruitment in mind.

“Our commitment to showcasing the background of professionals, including their specific certifications, is what makes this service possible. It’s great to see it used to benefit our registered Instructors and industry employers.”

Eligibility and Opt-In Process
The service is available to FITREC-registered professionals who have Les Mills certifications listed on their profiles. To be included in search results, Instructors simply need to opt in via their FITREC account.

Unified Commitment
By streamlining the instructor sourcing process, LMAP, FITREC and HealthyPeople are empowering the industry with innovative solutions that enhance both recruitment and career growth.

FITREC Managing Director, Dennis Hosking went on to say “as founder of FITREC and HealthyPeople, the opportunity to rally the strength of both businesses around this cause for LMAP and their community is a great pleasure.

“Supporting industry professionals and employers is, and has always been, at the heart of our operations.”
