Australian Fitness Academy and FITREC partner to support AFA Asia learning platform
Building on their existing partnership in Australia, FITREC and Australian Fitness Academy have announced that they are joining forces to support the new AFA Asia learning platform.
The long-time collaborators are now providing further support for one another as part of AFA’s new education offering throughout Asia.
Expressing his enthusiasm for AFA’s new international courses, FITREC Managing Director, Dennis Hosking stated “AFA’s work aligns very well with FITREC’s mission to register the world’s fitness professionals.”
As an extension of their existing collaboration, FITREC will continue to add value to AFA courses by providing students with support and portability of certification.
FITREC General Manager, Luis Carranza noted "AFA Asia is now the 14th International Educator FITREC has partnered with, nine of those being in the last seven months. Making Global Registration a reality, and portability of certification a seamless process.
"The LMS and course content delivered by AFA will contribute to raised education standards in South East Asia as it has done in Australia, delivering the quality we expect from a training organisation.
"We will continue to support AFA with our best-in-class Student Registration, and we look forward to seeing how their graduates throughout Asia make the most of our International Recognition and Portability program."
Ash Shenker, General Manager of AFA and AFA Asia, pointed out that “having built a long-standing and fruitful partnership with FITREC in Australia, AFA is now proud to partner with FITREC across South-East Asia.
“With students able to access Free Student Registration while they complete their studies, and our graduates receiving international recognition through FITREC’s Global Registration, AFA Alumni are well-equipped to establish long-term careers in the fitness industry.
Shenker emphasised that “the global portability of a FITREC registration also provides new and exciting opportunities to AFA graduates. This is a progression that contributes to the growth of the fitness industry worldwide and aligns well with AFA’s ethos.”
AFA Asia students will have access to the free student registration offered by FITREC, including all services and support to help them find local work and work experience opportunities. Upon graduation, students can tap into all services available to FITREC-registered professionals.
