Fitness First Australia offers weeklong free trial membership

Fitness First Australia is undertaking another of its Fitness Week promotions offering potential members a weeklong free trial between 11th and 17th January.

Looking to expand the 40,000 Australians that visit its clubs every day, Fitness First is looking to help new members with their New Year fitness goals, stating “we believe that when your body and mind are in shape, the ordinary somehow becomes extraordinary.

“Together, let’s kick off the New Year celebrating this journey to the extraordinary.”

Over recent months Fitness First has also introduced new staffing structures in its clubs, with a merging of reception and sales functions to provide a new emphasis on member service.

First trialled in a pilot program, a Fitness First spokesperson explains “the insights delivered from this pilot program have enabled us to evolve to an improved way of operating.

“These new structures not only support our members better, but are also a smarter, more efficient way to operate and offer more enjoyable roles to our club staff. “

Fitness First is currently working through a redeployment process to finalise the new club structures in greater detail and communicate with all staff.

In a significant management change, Fitness First’s former National Personal Training Manager Michael Cunico has become National Fitness Manager (Head of Fitness), replacing Rob Hale.

In other staff moves at Fitness First Australia, Adrian Holdsworth has taken on the role of National Development Manager.
