Fitness Cartel reveals ongoing franchise expansion goals

Having launched in 2020, Fitness Cartel Health Clubs are looking at further growth of is franchising model.

Offering what he says is a unique business model and fit-out, which delivers multiple revenue streams, and includes a full team for management support, Fitness Cartel Health Clubs Australia founder and Director, Nathan James explains “Fitness Cartel offers the latest cardio and strength equipment including Technogym, as well as Les Mills group fitness classes, yoga, Pilates, functional training and cycling.”

James (pictured below), known for his former roles as co-owner of World Gym Australia, Genesis Fitness Clubs and Australian Sports Nutrition stores, noted “we have separate training areas and a new system that guarantees results never seen in any Australian club before - and everything is designed to ensure you feel comfortable, whilst keeping up-to-date with market trends.

“Our feel-good environment is designed to challenge, motivate and inspire results; and we achieve this by offering the best workout possible using the best facilities, customer service and atmosphere in the industry.

“Our diverse fit-out and dedicated team provide electric experiences for our members, which sets us apart from the competition.”

Operating in Aspley and Maroochydore in Queensland, as well as Tweed Heads in NSW, Fitness Cartel General Manager and partner, TJ Groot explained “our Oxley (Queensland) site is almost operational, and our Albion Park (NSW) location is due to open on the 1st of March.

“It’s very exciting times because in addition to these five sites, we plan to launch another five before the end of the year; this equates to a 400% growth in just two years.”

Further explaining the group’s expansion plans, James adds “(our) strength lies in the unique business structure which drives multiple revenue streams allowing for a faster ROI … and in our relentless pursuit for success, we aim to have 30 sites operational by 2024.”

Sydney-based consultancy company, Fitness Business Sales, who has been appointed by Fitness Cartel, to spearhead the expansion of the brand throughout Australia.
