Inaugural Fitness Australia National Symposium to inspire, connect and celebrate
Fitness Australia's inaugural National Symposium aims to focus on consumer trends and perspectives, and to inspire, connect and celebrate health and fitness.
Being held at the Marriott Resort and Spa on the Gold Coast on 30th and 31st October, the event is being backed by a range of brands that share these goals.
Fitness Australia Chief Executive Lauretta Stace explains "the 2015 National Symposium is attracting the support of a broad range of brands and services including Precor, MYZONE, NSF Super, Physio Control, Fitness & Health Expo, SAGE Institute of Fitness and FITMedia.
“A robust event means providing a broad range of expertise and these Symposium partners are here to support our goals.
"Beyond being vocal supporters of our national event, they all have another thing in common, which is to see the fitness industry build on its quality services and capabilities."
Michael Jordan of MYZONE, Fitness Australia Board Member and Symposium business panel facilitator, states "if we can connect with each other and other like-minded industries we can develop more innovative and effective methods to engage sedentary Australians into active healthy lifestyles.
"That’s what we are passionate about at MYZONE and why we support the fitness industry.”
Precor Australia & New Zealand Marketing Manager Richard Derbyshire adds "we’re committed to supporting education and knowledge sharing, and the Fitness Australia Symposium is a fantastic example of this.”
Also featuring on the Business Panel at the Symposium Workshop is NSF Super.
Chief Executive Ian Morante says “despite coming from very different backgrounds, there are many similarities between the objectives of Fitness Australia and NSF Super, in wanting to help employers by building strong relationships and delivering quality support and expertise.”
The business panel discussions will cover all-things about consumer spending patterns and behaviour.
Physio Control, the Australian Fitness & Health Expo (Diversified Communications) and SAGE Institute of Fitness also support the objectives of the Symposium.
