Fitness and entertainment additions at Changi Airport Terminal 2

Offering an escape to combat jet lag, resist fatigue and boost energy for transit passengers, a new Fit&Fun Zone is now operating within the transit area at Singapore’s Changi Airport’s Terminal 2.

Blending fitness and entertainment, the space features five colourful zones spanning over 400 square metres, each inspired by emotions commonly experienced by travellers, such as anxiety, exhaustion and excitement.

Introducing the concept, a Changi Airport spokesperson advised “if you’re looking for things to do in Changi Airport Terminal 2 that’ll help you stretch before a long flight, move your body between long journeys, or simply have some fun during a layover, the Fit&Fun Zone offers an invigorating experience for all travellers.

“We recommend checking in early for your flight at Changi Airport to ensure you have sufficient time to fully experience the Fit&Fun Zone and other attractions in the terminals.”

With the five coloured spaces, the Green Zone features swinging pendulum chairs overlooking the Dreamscape garden and digital sky. The tranquil zone provides the perfect respite for those seeking peace from the bustling airport environment.

Within the Orange Zone, travellers can punch Spar Pods - soft punching bags and 3D wall petal structures with light balls that change colour offering a visual cue in response to the traveller’s activity.

In the Pink Zone, travellers can build strength by pulling down levers ranging from two to eight kilograms in weight which light up ball-shaped lamps while the Yellow Zone features five trampoline pods, that play music as soon as travellers bounce away their worries and jetlag – an activity designed to boost cardio-vascular activity.

Fit&Fun’s Blue Zone lets visitors test their agility by squeezing through the twists and turns of the rope maze - a fun and engaging experience for travellers seeking a touch of adventure.

The Fit&Fun Zone is located above the Dreamscape garden in Terminal 2’s transit area.
