Wibit’s HydroDash aquatic attraction reopens at Singapore’s Sentosa

Leading provider of floating modular aquatic play installations, Wibit Sports, has seen its mega water park HydroDash reopen at Sentosa offering 12 new features among its more than 30 obstacle attractions.

HydroDash, Singapore’s only floating aqua park, closed in 2024 due to the oil spillage surrounding Palawan Beach. All water activities at beaches on Sentosa, the Southern Islands and East Coast Park were suspended after a boat hit another vessel at Pasir Panjang Terminal on 14th June 2024, resulting in the oil spill that affected large swathes of the sea around Singapore.

The newly upgraded Wibit floating obstacle is impressive, spanning 60 metres by 61 metres and includes ‘The Mountain’- a four metre tall inflatable encouraging participants to climb its peak, before launching themselves down various slides.

For younger participants the Wibit obstacle course offers gentler slopes for a calmer ride.

The Zig Zag obstacle offers an opportunity for participants to challenge themselves on speed and agility or compete against others to see who can clear this obstacle fastest without falling off into the water.

Other obstacle options include the Dip Bars, where the only way across is by gripping the inflatable parallel bars and moving on your hands; and the Target Jump – offering  a target hole for participants to leap through and cannonball into the waters.

Tickets are priced at $30 for one hour and $50 for two hours. HydroDash also offers a $2 weather insurance, where you’ll get a one-time reschedule if your session is cancelled due to lightning.

Participants have to be aged six and above, with six year olds requiring adult supervision.

Participants are required to be able to swim a short distance of 20metres to reach the course, with a life jacket on, so those who can’t swim may enquire for assistance from the staff if needed. Buoyancy aids are provided for free and all participants are required to keep them on throughout the session.
