Fitech Relaunches in Australia and New Zealand

Fitech has brought Australian and New Zealand distribution of its new V5 product in-house, under the auspices of a product development and programming manager based in Victoria.

The new product is run as a 'Software as a Service' application making the software infinitely more flexible and far more cost effective for all health and wellness consultants.

Traditionally a product for large corporates, councils, the military, universities and third party wellness providers, Fitech V5 is now within easy reach for small organisations, individual consultants and personal trainers.

Fitech has a strong market presence in Europe, has recently started to distribute its products in South Africa and will soon launch in the United States.

Replacing previous Australasian promotion of its product, Fitech Global has now stepped in to back the predominantly Australian developed V5 product (developed in association with the Fitech base in Reading, UK). In addition, a local Fitech contact will shortly be available in New Zealand.

Fitech's success over the last 30 years in 49 different countries is based on its commitment to provide assessment tools based only around academically and scientifically based tests, which is why it has been so popular in universities and with occupation health consultants. V5 even 'powered' the wellness of several F1 Grand Prix racing teams in 2009.

In 2010 Fitech will be looking to concentrate on bridging the gap between corporate and personal trainers providing that market sector with reports comprised of credible and internationally recognised tests whilst simultaneously providing an additional revenue stream. 2010 will also see the implementation of a Nutrition module based on government approved nutritional data and norms.

New licensing models based around online purchasing of credits rather like some stock photo applications are also being considered.
