Suncorp Stadium to break annual 24 events cap?

The Queensland Government looks set to ensure that the Brisbane Broncos can play NRL semi-finals on their home ground.
One of the original conditions on Suncorp Stadium (formerly known as Lang Park) was a limit of 24 events per year with a crowd greater than 25,000.
However, this year the Brisbane Roar enjoyed huge support through their A-League campaign while the Queensland Reds drew large crowds in winning the Super Rugby final.
Queensland Treasurer Andrew Fraser said the Bledisloe Cup in late August and the regular Brisbane Broncos crowds would see the stadium reach its limit of 24 big events.
As a result, the Queensland Government is considering changing the stadium's conditions to ensure the Broncos didn't lose a home ground advantage in the semis.
Treasurer Fraser told ABC Radio "the Broncos, firmly in the top four, would face either not playing at Lang Park or having to play their semi-final in NSW and I don't think anyone wants to see that.
"The alternative ï¾ would be to say the Broncos can only have 25,000 people at a semi-final match."
Minister Fraser, who is the local MP for the suburbs around the stadium, said the community would be consulted about the changes, but there was a low level of complaints about big events.
