Exos secures Mindbody 2022 Industry Icon Award
Fitness and wellness industry technology platform Mindbody has announced that Exos, a world leader in human performance, has been named the winner of the 2022 Industry Icon Award.
Presented annually during Mindbody’s BOLD 2022 conference, the award honours a Mindbody customer that has had a profound and lasting impact on the wellness industry and shown exponential growth in the previous 12 months.
Exos was chosen for this year’s award in recognition of their impact on the industry and the company’s incredible 60% year-over-year growth. Over its 23-year history, Exos has supported over 12,000 elite athletes, including 215 Olympians, built a community of over 2,500 coaches and currently works with 25% of Fortune 100 companies.
During BOLD 2022, Mindbody also announced its $5,000 donation to Platoon 22, a US 501c3 non-profit founded by Danny Farrar, Chief Executive of Mindbody customer SOLDIERFIT.
Farrar, an eight-year military veteran who served in the US Army, served a combat tour in Iraq that took its toll upon his return home in the form of a period of homelessness and, worse, an attempted suicide.
With 22 veterans lost to suicide each day, Platoon 22 works to support others in similar situations and reduce incidents of veteran suicide by empowering them through a variety of programs and services. SOLDIERFIT supports Platoon 22 by donating a portion of each membership to the nonprofit organisation.
