ExerciseNZ releases 2015 Roadshow program
The Exercise Association of New Zealand (ExerciseNZ) has released details of its 2015 industry Roadshow program, a series of industry workshops dedicated to supporting the New Zealand fitness industry.
To be held at eight locations across New Zealand, each Roadshow event will consist of two separate 1/2 day workshops - one for facility managers, one for Personal Trainers – with each event designed to help grow and support attendees’ businesses.
Confirmed speakers are Paul Timms, Marietta Mehanni and Reece Zondag.
Aimed at club owners, managers and Personal Trainers, attendees will also gain CPD points from the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals for attending.

Managers / Owners Stream:
Reece Zondag: How to cope with, survive, and even thrive after an event or series of adverse events effect your business. Reece will outline how you can use adverse effects to positively effect your business.
Marietta Mehanni: Are you planning on spending (or just have spent) your precious funds to create a Functional Training area? This session will give you ideas on how to create an environment that is encompassing and comfortable for all your members and how to get your trainers optimising the use of this space.
Paul Timms: Do you want to generate additional revenue streams? How do you get involved in global opportunities? How can I deal with that difficult staff member? Paul will give proven advise to answer these questions commonly posed by club managers
Personal Trainers Stream:
Reece Zondag: Taking the next step - a beginners guide to the role of managing a small gym or studio or applying for that next role up the ladder - what potential employers looking for, and what your existing employer wants to see before moving you up the ladder.
Marietta Mehanni: Functional training is the all the rave and gyms everywhere are spending money on creating new cool spaces with all the latest equipment but the question is, who is using it? This session is about how you can create an environment where you can see members of all levels using this space and feeling confident and comfortable about approaching the ‘fat ropes, bowling balls with handles and hanging straps’.
Paul Timms: How do you deal with your difficult clients? How do you generate more clients? How do you build your business? How do I become an industry leader? All of these questions are addressed in this session.
