ETSA ends Netball SA Stadium sponsorship
Netball SA has renamed its main venue Netball SA Stadium after ETSA Utilities decided not to renew its naming rights deal for what had been known as ETSA Park.
ETSA had held the naming rights for the Stadium since its opening as a specialist netball facility in 2001.
Containing four indoor netball courts, which seat up to 3,200 people, and 26 outdoor courts for local games, the venue hosts matches in both the national ANZ Championship and state Dairy Farmers Cup, as well as some international events.
Following the end of the naming rights deal, all references to ETSA have been removed from the Netball SA website.
Meanwhile, rival electricity supplier, Simply Energy has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Adelaide Thunderbirds netball team.
