eps Australia expands with Eventfloor acquisition
eps Australia, a global leader in event infrastructure and crowd control solutions, has expanded its business operations through the acquisition of Melbourne based ground protection specialist Eventfloor.
Eventfloor founder Paul Blackie will help usher in the next stage in the company’s development as a consultant.
Established in 2006, Eventfloor is one of Melbourne’s most trusted and reliable suppliers. With a focus on grass and turf protection, the company offers a special range of portable flooring, access roadways and turf protection systems, such as Pro-Floor, Pro-Track and Pro-Zone.

Commenting on the acquisition, Andrew Stone, Managing Director of eps Australia, stated "we are delighted that Eventfloor is now part of eps australia. Over decades, the company has built a strong and reliable business, bringing with it a fantastic local reputation and associated inventory.
“This merger will not only strengthen eps’s market leadership, it will also bring added value to all customers who will get a broader variety of products and services, with better access to warehousing, inventory, plant and machinery.”
Eventfloor owner, Paul Blackie added “eps is a great global company in our industry, that has built its reputation on reliable and good quality services.
