Deni Ute Muster gets NSW Government backing

The NSW Government has announced its support for the Deni Ute Muster in Riverina for another three years.

Since being created in 1999, the Deni Ute Muster now attracts more than 25,000 people to the town of Deniliquin to celebrate all things Australian and the icon of the Ute.

Presenting a unique blend of activities the event is now a major music event, with the 2015 event featuring  Cold Chisel, Birds of Tokyo and Lee Kernaghan.

Announcing the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres stated “events such as the Deni Ute Muster are a vital contributor to regional tourism which attract visitors from outside NSW and Australia, showcasing a unique side of our diverse regional communities.

“With a sensational program scheduled across two days, I encourage everyone to begin planning their visit to the Deni Ute Muster so they don’t miss out on this exciting event that demonstrates all things Australian.”

Encapsulating the uniqueness of Australia’s rural heritage and culture, the Deni Ute Muster generate arounf $6 million is spending each year, showcasing the NSW Riverina to a global audience.

The 2016 Deni Ute Muster will be held on 30th September and 1st October with a musical line-up headed by Keith Urban, along with James Reyne, Adam Brand and The Outlaws, John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley and Shannon Noll.
