Dan Stock joins littleBIG marketing agency to promote clients in aquatics, hospitality and tourism

Former Journalist and Mr Yum Global Communications Leader, Dan Stock, has joined the growing PR & Content Team at full-service marketing agency, littleBIG.

Stock joined littleBIG in June 2023 and will lead many of the agency’s PR & Content clients across food & drink, tourism and lifestyle portfolios including food tech startup, Foodini, Clublinks’ redeveloped Northcote Aquatics & Recreation Centre, Preston Market, and the Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Event (AIME).

Stock is a former Fairfax (pre Nine merger) and News Corp journalist with extensive experience in content creation and communications. At Mr Yum, Stock was responsible for all external global communications across ANZ, the US and UK, positioning the high-growth tech startup as a category leader in at-table mobile ordering and payments. Prior to Mr Yum, Stock was the Herald Sun Victorian Food Editor responsible for food and drink content across all media channels.

Stock shared “with the best part of my  journalism career focused on the Australian hospitality industry writing about restaurants, food and drinks, I remain wildly interested in the passionate people the industry attracts and love helping tell their stories.

“This, together with my desire to collaborate with smart and creative humans who know how to have a laugh made littleBIG an attractive option for me. Delighted to be here.”

littleBIG Founder & Director, Sally Harley, explains hiring Stock has come at an opportune time for the agency as it continues to scale.

Harley adds “It’s exciting to see our small but mighty agency go from strength to strength. Offering clients the right resourcing and expertise to deliver tangible benefits for their businesses is critical to us.

“Our PR & Content team comprises some real superstars – they know how to deliver first-class results but, more importantly, they are lovely humans who have created an award-winning ecosystem, one into which Dan has integrated seamlessly.

“It’s clear that anyone who has met or worked with Dan knows how talented he is and we’re  tremendously excited to see how he will impact the team.”

Current littleBIG clients are: Bippi, Brown Family Wine Group (Devil’s Corner, Tamar Ridge, Pirie and Innocent Bystander), City of Ballarat (plus festivals Begonia, Heritage and Winter), Clublinks, Driscoll’s, Foodini, Grampians Tourism Board, GRN Built, Kez’s Kitchen, Murray Regional Tourism, Preston Market, Procal Dairies, Queen Victoria Market, ShanDongMama, Sovereign Hill Museums Association, Talk2Media & Events (AIME), Melbourne Cocoa, Winemakers of Rutherglen, and Wine Victoria.

Celebrating 16 years in 2023, littleBIG is a full-service marketing agency that propels food & drink, tourism and lifestyle brands and experiences. The agency has received a Travel Creative Agency of the Year nomination at the 2023 Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards.
