CVM Academy’s rebrand to Ampd Academy marks move to expand training services beyond the aquatic industry

In a move aimed at addressing the evolving needs of the aquatic industry, the CVM Academy has announced its rebrand into Ampd Academy.

The significant move for the Ampd Academy (which will retain its RTO registration number - 31946) will see it extend its registered training organisation (RTO) services beyond its original scope, to encompass the entire aquatic industry and with plans for national expansion to support other industries.

Originally founded to meet the specific training requirements of its own venue management operations, Ampd Academy now embraces a broader mission to combat skill shortages across Australian businesses. This move underscores the academy's dedication to playing a pivotal role in elevating competencies while reducing the barriers of entry for businesses to offer continued development opportunities to their employees.

With a mission to ‘amplify potential together’,and values like, ‘elevating learning’, ‘sparking curiosity’, and ‘creating simplexity’, Ampd Academy proudly partners with a number of leaders in their field. Using businesses like Learning Vault, platforms like CloudAssess and JobReady+, and having close relationships with industry bodies such as the Australian Swim School Association, and ITECA, just to name a few, this is just the start of our journey together.

Ampd Academy is thrilled to introduce an extensive array of courses crafted to cater to the diverse needs of Australian industries. With many more courses coming soon.

Ampd Academy Chief Executive, Nicky Sloan commented “as we unveil our transformation into Ampd Academy, this expanded course offering highlights our commitment to delivering top-tier education that reaches further, beyond Queensland and aquatic safety and education.

“With our growing team of highly qualified and engaged trainers and a diverse course offerings, Ampd Academy is ready to address the significant skill shortage impacting so many industries in Australia.

“We endeavour to have a tripartite relationship with industry associations, government, and employers.”

In a strategic move to enhance accessibility, Ampd Academy now welcomes corporate and group bookings in addition to individual enrollments. This agility allows organisations to invest in the professional development of their teams, leveraging the academy's industry-leading training programs. Supporting both businesses as well as learners while they navigate the growing needs for continued professional development.

The legacy CVM Academy

Since then, the academy has served over 40 businesses around the country and more than 50 schools in Queensland.

Ampd Academy inherits the reputation and knowledge garnered by CVM Academy, boasting over seven-thousand hours of training and a remarkable 78% known employment outcomes of students with employers upon course completion.
