More contract wins for Belgravia Leisure

Belgravia Leisure has been appointed to manage the new Devonport Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Tasmania and the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre in NSW, and has also been re-appointed under a new contract to manage the Annette Kellerman and Fanny Durack Aquatic Centres on behalf of Marrickville Council in Sydney.

Management of the Moss Vale Aquatic Centre, located in the Wingecarribee Shire, provides a new regional opportunity for Belgravia Leisure.

Welcoming the new management, Wingecarribee Shire Council General Manager Jason Gordon stated "Council looks forward to working with Belgravia Leisure in managing a first-class swimming and exercise facility that will offer the Shire's citizens access to year round fitness."

In Tasmania, the Devonport City Council is also looking forward to working with the contract managers, with Mayor Steve Martin stating "Belgravia Leisure is at the forefront of leisure, aquatic, fitness and golf management throughout Australia.

"They currently manage over 80 venues across Australia, and have knowledge, vast experience and expertise in the operation of aquatic centres nationally."

A statement on the Belgravia Leisure website explained "as a company we have been able to effectively balance the need for sustainable business, resulting in the best financial result for Councils, while delivering an extensive range of programs and services to these communities."
