Clubbercise founder views international expansion during tour of Australia and south east Asia
As part of their international expansion Claire Burlison, the founder of ‘healthy clubbing’ fitness phenomenon Clubbercise, has this month been visiting Australia and south east Asia.
The tour took UK-based Burlison to four cities - Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Bangkok - where she visited facilities that are already running successful Clubbercise classes, including Virgin Active Health Clubs.
Commenting on her visit, Burlison advised “the trip totally exceeded my expectations.
“The positivity and passion from our instructors and class providers was incredible. Hearing stories of how Clubbercise classes are changing lives for people of all ages on a global scale made me extremely proud.”
Burlison also attended FILEX and the Fitness Show in Sydney where she was joined by Australia-based Clubbercise Master Trainer Jade Purdie to meet liaisee with potential partners and gym owners and managers.
Burlison added “I was really impressed with how well-organised and professional FILEX and the Fitness Show were. Everyone gave us such a warm welcome, especially the Fitness Australia team who we’ve been working with long distance for a few months now.
“Based on the positive feedback from the events, we’ll definitely be releasing more instructor training courses over the next few months to meet demand.”
Clubbercise currently have instructor training courses coming up in Sydney, Gold Coast and Melbourne covering essential information that instructors will need to know in order to run safe and successful Clubbercise classes.
Clubbercise courses have been awarded 7 CEC points by Fitness Australia. They also offer in-house training for gyms and health clubs.
