Club Lime opens 17th facility in West Belconnen
Club Lime, the largest health and fitness provider in the ACT, has opened its latest club - Club Lime Kippax, located in the heart of West Belconnen.
Club Lime Kippax is the 17th club in the group which includes its flagship facility, The Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre, 14 24/7 Clubs, two Club Lime Women’s only clubs and Club Lime in Wollongong.
Explaining that Club Lime Kippax will help create the opportunity for the Kippax community to lead a healthier lifestyle, Harry Konstantinou, Club Lime’s founder and Managing Director states “Club Lime Kippax has been designed to cater for the evolving fitness market, it has all the essentials necessary for a great workout along with the latest top of the range equipment from Life Fitness and a functional area that will cater for any serious athlete.”
Konstantinou adds that driven by the company’s passion to improve health and wellness within the Kippax community, he aims for Club Lime to help revitalise the neighbourhood with its accessibility and affordability.
The new two storey Club Lime Kippax facility houses the newly released Life Fitness Discover SE3 cardio equipment not yet seen in the ACT, along with the latest Hammer Strength weight equipment upstairs.
The lower level has a dedicated functional training area, Lime Zone, which will see members worked over with Club Limes High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Classes.
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Club Lime offers facilities that are affordable, accessible and, as its members say, “awesome”.
In addition, Club Lime’s platinum membership gives access to 17 facilities via Club Lime’s secure access pass, which grants members full access even when the Club’s aren’t staffed.
New members can access one of the 52 personal trainers across the group via the introduction offer of ‘two sessions for $20’.
Commenting on this initiative, Konstantinou adds “we consider it vital for our members to be inducted properly into the Clubs equipment so that they have the confidence to feel comfortable using all types of equipment.
“Setting members up right from the start is vital for them to hopefully establish a Lifelong exercise regime.”
Konstantinou is extremely enthusiastic about opening this new club, concluding “the accessibility and affordability of Club Lime cannot be beat.
“Choosing this club makes it easy for members to stay committed to their fitness goals.”
Club Lime was the first fitness club operator in Australia to offer clubs in all three club segments – offering 24/7 ‘express’ sized clubs, regular sized clubs, and ‘big box’ clubs, all of which, with one exception operate 24 hours.
By servicing all three segments Club Lime is well positioned to service local communities with the best possible format of Club and equipment.
The 2016/17 fiscal year saw Club Lime and Club Pink surpass 2.2 million casual and member visits to its facilities for the first time. With over 30,000 members and growing year on year, the Club Lime brand has some exciting expansion plans for 2017 and beyond.
Club Lime Kippax officially opened on the 31st July 2017.
