CLM appoints new Facility Manager for Whangārei Aquatic Centre ·

Community Leisure Management (CLM) has appointed Darren Pott as the new Facility Manager of Whangārei Aquatic Centre (situated in the Northland region of New Zealand's North Island) after having worked in Te Tai Tokerau Northland for the past two years with his most recent role being the Kauri Coast Community Pool Manager for the 2021/22 season.

CLM have for more than 25 years been New Zealand’s leading contractor in community facility and programme management, operating recreation centres, swimming pools and fitness centres throughout New Zealand.

Pott has worked for CLM for the past 12 years in the Aquatics space after graduating from Canterbury University with a Bachelor of Education. He has been the lead Coach/Manager in CLM winning the NZ team Lifeguard of the year for the past four years.

Pott is excited about his appointment and looking forward to working with the Whangārei Aquatic Centre team and the wider Tai Tokerau Northland community. He replaces Sam Page, who was Facility Manager for the past two years.

Scott Linklater, Manahautū o Te Raki ma Te Haumi Māori o CLM Northland Regional and Māori Relationship Manager notes “we are very happy to have someone of Darren’s expertise and character to continue on from the great contribution Sam has made during her time in the role.”
