Clip 'n Climb undertakes global survey of adventure leisure operations

Leading recreational climbing specialist, Clip ‘n Climb, has launced a global survey to gauge the state of the adventure leisure/family entertainment centre sector during the Coronavirus crisis.

The survey suggests a number of solutions that could potentially aid the reopening and ongoing operations of adventure leisure and family entertainment centres, looking at what users might find acceptable for facilities when Coronavirus restrictions are eased. Questions include the conditions under which users will take part in these activities (with suggestions including wearing a mask and/or gloves, gloves, social distancing, contactless payments, online bookings and limited capacity within a facility), whether users would be willing to limit their time at a facility (and what is the minimum amount of time users would find acceptable) and when people would you be ready to return to using facilities.

A statement introducing the survey advises "Clip 'n Climb cares about its guests and wants to understand their state of mind at the moment. (Aimed) at all family entertainment centres guests, the survey aims at keeping track of the situation worldwide and see any evolution in perceptions regarding safety measures and procedures.

"For all the entertainment centres which had to close doors due to the pandemic, the decision to reopen soon or not and under which conditions is not an easy one. There are a lot of aspects to take into account whether it is the economic context, the legal rules, or the guests experience."

When gathered and analysed, Clip 'n Climb have undertaken to share the results with operators.
