Highgate Group makes first two Clip 'n Climb sales in Australia

The Highgate Group has announced that two centres featuring the 'Clip 'n Climb' portfolio of climbing products will be opening in Australia in the next few months.

18 elements of the fast growing 'Clip 'n Climb' range will feature in a multi activity family facility set to open at the Gold Coast in December while Australia's very first, full Clip 'n Climb centre, with 32 elements, will open in Melbourne in March 2014.

A spokesperson for The Highgate Group explained "this is a very pleasing outlook for the Clip 'n Climb brand in Australia and indicates a clear picture that operators really see the value and potential of taking on a license for this brand, which is rapidly growing globally.

"Supported by Clip 'n Climb (Sheer Adventure), new clients can rest assured that the product they are investing in is contemporary, innovative and engaging.

"Interest is also significant from facilities wanting a small number of Clip 'N Climb products to refurbish, or upgrade an existing facility this includes play centres, theme parks, go karting and bowling alleys."

From its birth place in Christchurch, New Zealand, where all operations, including manufacturing, are focussed continue to tick along, Clip 'n Climb creators John Target and Tim Withby have already exported the product and Clip 'n Climb centres to Canada, El Salvador, Germany and the USA while also opening a centre in Auckland.

The Highgate Group is the exclusive distributor and installer for Clip 'n Climb in Australia and has been in the outdoor recreation sector for the last 18 years.

With expertise is in designing, constructing, maintaining and servicing traditional climbing walls and ropes courses, The Highgate Group were also recently appointed to represent five new products in Australia; Clip 'n Climb, Ropes Courses Inc. ZipStop, Trublue and Edelrid Smart Belays.

Clip 'N Climb are also exhibiting at the upcoming International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Annual Convention and Trade Show in Orlando, Florida from 18th to 22nd November. They can be visited at stand #4883.
