Caravan and camping holidays engage more NSW families

Families now make up the largest group of caravan and camping visitors in NSW according to the Caravan & Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIANSW).

Speaking about the recent holiday season, Caravan & Camping Industry Association NSW President Theo Whitmont stated “it’s a favourite holiday style for many Sydney families who are looking to take longer holidays on the North or South Coast regions.

“With almost 35% of domestic caravan and camping visitors to NSW being part of a family group, its clearly showing that the traditional family holiday is as popular as ever.”

Whitmont said the Easter school holidays had been a great opportunity for families to get away and experience quality family time in holiday parks in NSW. It is also a chance for those staying in Sydney, to come along to the CCIANSW’s Caravan and Camping Supershow and start planning for their next holiday break.

The Supershow is being held at Rosehill Racecourse from Saturday (26th April) to Sunday 4th May.

Whitmont added “the Supershow is an excellent way for those people who haven’t had any experience of camping or caravaning to get to know the products on offer in one easily accessible location

“With over 300 exhibitors, the Supershow provides a fantastic opportunity for people to see just what is on offer from a caravan and camping holiday and there are plenty of activities for the whole family.
