Cairns open water inflatable playground draws in visitors
The temporary closure of the Cairns Aqua Park over recent days due to the proximity of Tropical Cyclone Nathan has provided a brief pause in a highly successful summer season for the open water inflatable playground.
Operating alongside the Cairns Wake Park off the Captain Cook Highway north of Cairns, the family -friendly attraction has proved a popular place for residents and visitors to escape the tropical heat during the summer months.
With the Cairns Wake Park having recently marked 10 years of operations, the owners expanded the attraction with a range of open water aquatic play and sport products to offer a flexible drawcard for visitors.
The Cairns Aqua Park is one of a growing number of open water inflatable playground’s being introduced across Australia by operators looking to provide flexible and low-cost ‘waterpark’ type attractions.
