Disney On Ice heads Down Under
Disney On Ice's 2010 Winter Tour has began its Australia and New Zealand tour.
Commencing in Auckland, where it plays at Vector Arena from 20th to 23rd May, Disney On Ice this year presents the Disneyland® Adventure.
With an original story, the Disneyland® Adventure invites audiences to experience Disneyland through favourite characters and classic villains on a colourful and exciting adventure.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, this fantastic ice spectacular showcases breathtaking artistic skating and acrobatics, the story following Disney characters deciding to take a vacation of their own and enjoy Disney's most popular theme park attractions.
Tasked with ensuring the show's authenticity, each member of the creative team approached the challenge with a unique perspective.
Producer Kenneth Feld explains "Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland® Adventure will remind audiences of all the fun and unimaginable possibilities that Disneyland offers while capturing the escapades of Mickey Mouse and his friends.
"Children and adults alike will find this ice adventure both familiar and unexpected at the same time."
After Auckland, the Disney On Ice Disneyland® Adventure will play at:
Westpac Arena, Christchurch - 28th to 30th May
Brisbane Entertainment Centre - 16th to 20th June
Adelaide Entertainment Centre - 24th to 27th June
