Brisbane City Council looks for operators for five city pools
Brisbane City Council is seeking expressions of interest from “experienced proponents for the lease and operation” of its City Pools at Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre, Bellbowrie Swimming Pool, Jindalee Swimming Pool, Musgrave Park Swimming Pool and Spring Hill Baths.
There are 22 Council swimming pools across Brisbane offering opportunities for users to cool off, relax, enjoy water play, swim laps, attend a fitness class, learn to swim, improve swim strokes or join a swimming club.
Pool facilities vary between venues with pool opening hours varying between seasons.
The Council endorses the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia's Keep Watch program and all pools honour the Queensland Government Companion Card, allowing free entry for anyone accompanying a person with disability who requires attendant care support.
