BlueFit achieves ISO Accreditation
BlueFit has strengthened its position as an industry leader in aquatic, recreation and sport facility management by successfully achieving ISO accreditation across all its facilities.
This milestone is a significant achievement, reinforcing the company’s commitment to maintaining international standards in safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
The certification, conducted by leading auditing body Citation Group, validates BlueFit’s dedication to operating facilities that adhere to internationally recognised best practices.
BlueFit General Manager Brett McEwin highlighted the significance of this accreditation, noting that the rigorous certification process and ongoing annual audits will provide added assurance to BlueFit’s 20+ council partners and the local communities it serves.
McEwin advised “our team members have always demonstrated a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
“Achieving ISO certification reinforces these values and provides our stakeholders with confidence that BlueFit facilities are managed to the highest international standards.”
McEwin also emphasised the role of BlueFit’s integrated management system, SALT, and the Lynxight anti-drowning technology in streamlining the accreditation process.
Commenting on this, he noted “our investment in SALT, our integrated facility management system, along with our Lifeguard on Watch program powered by Lynxight anti-drowning technology, allowed us to approach this accreditation with confidence.
“Rather than reinventing processes, we were able to document and validate the robust systems we’ve had in place since our founding in 2007, ensuring transparency and best practice for our partners.”
McEwin went on to acknowledge the dedication of BlueFit’s workforce, recognising their role in embedding a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the organisation, stating “I would like to congratulate all 2,600 dedicated BlueFit staff who contribute every day to fostering a strong safety culture, no matter their role within the organisation.”
With more than 63 aquatic, hospitality, recreation and sport facilities nationwide, BlueFit remains committed to prioritising health, safety, and quality across all its operations. Through continuous improvement and collaboration with local government and private partners, BlueFit ensures its facilities provide safe, sustainable, and high-quality environments for communities across Australia.
