BlueBet Stadium to return to Penrith Park naming for Panthers final season 2024 home game
The Penrith Panthers will pay tribute to their traditional home ground by re-naming the venue Penrith Park - its pre naming rights name - for its Round 27 NRL match against the Gold Coast Titans.
The 7th September clash will be the last home game at BlueBet Stadium before the venue’s multi million dollar redevelopment of the venue.
The decision to use the Penrith Park name for the clash against the Titans has been backed by BlueBet.
BlueBet Chief Executive, Bill Richmond advised “BlueBet appreciates the history synonymous with BlueBet Stadium since the team’s inception into the NSWRL in 1967.
“We’re proud to give fans another opportunity to create lifelong memories at Penrith Park one more time.”
The Panthers will also wear a heritage jersey for the match, paying tribute to the 1967 team, featuring the club’s foundation logo also featured on the sleeves of the jersey.
Beyond the 7th September game it is possible the Panthers will play a home Final at BlueBet Stadium a week after the final regular season game but it would be an NRL controlled finals series match.
