Blacktown City Family SportsFest returns in 2022 showcasing the best of local sport

Following a two-year break due to COVID, the Blacktown City Family SportsFest is returning on 24th September 2022 offering sports clinics, interactive sporting displays, competitions, appearances from sporting personalities and much more.

Blacktown City Mayor Tony Bleasdale notes “Sportsfest is set to be bigger and better this year with plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

“Blacktown is a proud sporting city and this event is the perfect opportunity to showcase the best of local sport.

“The day will offer plenty of come-and-try activities for the whole family. Families can also find out about the wonderful programs available at Council’s leisure and aquatic centres.”

The SportsFest  is being held at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope and entry to the whole of the venue will be free from 12pm, allowing families to enjoy all that SportsFest has to offer on the day.

All upfront memberships for Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope purchased on Saturday, 24th September 2022 will receive 10% off and pay no joining fee.

This year’s Sportsfest will include interactive displays from a variety of sports including, baseball, cricket, hockey, softball, swimming, tennis and many more with Blacktown Council encouraging the community to try a new sport and get ready for a summer of sporting fun.

The 2022 Blacktown City Family SportsFest will be held on Saturday, 24th September 2022 from 12pm to 5pm at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope (Sentry Drive, Stanhope Gardens).
