Bendigo Stadiums takes on management of Swan Hill Stadium
Following a formal tender process for the lease contract, Swan Hill Rural City Council has announced the appointment of Bendigo Stadiums as the new facility manager for its Swan Hill Stadium.
Announcing the partnership, Swan Hill Mayor, Stuart King announced that the deal marks a new chapter for the venue, ensuring high-quality management and operations to support the local sporting community.
Explaining that Bendigo Stadiums brings a wealth of experience in facility management, events and community engagement, Mayor King stated “we are excited to work with Bendigo Stadiums to ensure Swan Hill Stadium continues to provide excellent facilities for our community. Their expertise in managing sporting venues will be invaluable in fostering participation and enhancing the user experience.”
Bendigo Stadiums General Manager - Sports and Participation, Craig Armstead, expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity, adding “we are delighted to expand our operations to Swan Hill and look forward to working closely with the Council, sporting groups, and the broader community to maximise the stadium’s potential.”
The transition to Bendigo Stadiums’ management is now underway, with stadium users and stakeholders collaborating closely with the new contractors to ensure a seamless handover while maintaining existing schedules.
