Basketball Victoria and Ace Seating agree exclusive partnership

Adding to their long-standing relationships with flooring partners, Basketball Victoria has signed an exclusive partnership with Victorian-based Ace Seating.

The partnership with the Australian owned and operated company comes at a time of significant growth in basketball with over 632 basketball venues currently in use every week across Victoria, with additional stadia and increased infrastructure still needed across the state.

In addition, the Victorian Government has committed $239 million to basketball in the state, designed to fuel the expansion of basketball, with projects ranging from the State Basketball Centre redevelopment, Victorian regional basketball hubs to school stadia and several regional developments in places including Macedon Ranges, Maffra and Ballarat.

Basketball Victoria's partnership with Ace Seating will ensure their stadia and infrastructure meet the highest standards of comfort and ease of use. Ace Seating systems have developed a number of high-end features including with Wi-Fi banks, USB charging ports, hearing loops and heated seats.

Commenting on the partnership, Basketball Victoria Chief Executive Nick Honey stated "at a time when basketball needs rapid infrastructure expansion, we are delighted to have a key partner such as Ace Seating come on board.

“Ace Seating completed an installation of 3,000 fixed and retractable seats at the Bendigo Stadium extension - showcasing their ability to provide seating options for any size venue across Victoria and beyond.

“They’re perfectly placed to help improve seating for our associations and venues throughout Victoria.”

Ace Seating’s Principle Partner Jason Tully said he was looking forward to sharing the organisation’s expertise with the basketball community in Victoria.

Tully advised “Ace Seating have over 15 years’ experience in the sports facility sector.

“We are large enough to produce and small enough to care.

“Our reputation has been built on delivering outstanding service before, during and after installation and this will be the continuing foundation with our Basketball Victoria relationship.

“We look forward to working with all clubs and associations both large and small and we guarantee our best attention at all times.”

Basketball Victoria’s alignment with Ace Seating will provide associations throughout Victoria with access to their knowledge and capabilities, providing venue managers with holistic advice when considering upgrades and new builds.
