Belgravia Group’s Geoff Lord to be recognised with Beyond Activ Lifetime Achievement Award
Geoff Lord, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Belgravia Group, is being recognised with Beyond Activ’s Lifetime Achievement Award to be presented at Beyond Activ’s Melbourne event being held from 2nd to 3rd December at the Crown Conference Centre.
Beyond Activ’s industry celebration dinner recognises the achievements of an individual who has served the region’s health, fitness and wellness community, often over several decades, and helped the region become a happier and healthier one.
This award follows Lord being honoured with the Chair's Award at the 2024 AUSactive Award Gala held in Sydney.
In his role at the Belgravia Group, which he founded in 1990, Lord is responsible for, and has ownership (or part ownership), of an array of businesses in Australia and New Zealand, including many in the leisure industry.
These include Belgravia Leisure, Belgravia Health and Fitness (including Genesis Health and Fitness, Coaching Zone and Ninja Parc), JUMP! Swim Schools, Recreational Gymnastics Australia, BK’s Gymnastics, Belgravia Pro, Belgravia Outdoor Education,
Australian Sports Camps, The Dance Society and the Sports Community along with industry supplier Novofit, registered training organisation Belgravia Academy and GymbaROO.
His other businesses include Belgravia Events, Belgravia Apparel, Belgravia Finance, Belgravia Properties, Belgravia Technologies, Belgravia Investments and a business services division.
He has also created the Belgravia Foundation to connect the community to sports, recreation and fitness.
Lord's lifelong love of sport has expanded into a commitment to not only the business side of physical activity in many forms but also as an advocate for improving exercise and activity levels among younger people.
Beyond Active APAC, the Asia-Pacific leadership, investment, and business development event for the health, fitness, wellness, and hospitality industries, is a curated experience for owners, managers, and investors in these sectors to connect, learn about industry trends, and explore business opportunities. The event includes a conference, networking opportunities, and showcases of innovative products and technologies.
The event attracts a VIP audience of 750 executives from leading brands in the Asia-Pacific region.
